The Corporate Manslaughter & Corporate Homicide Act 2007 I attach details of important new legislation that will come into force from 6 April 2008.
This will affect all companies, regardless of size and I strongly recommend that the attachment is read.
Unfortunately insurance is not available for any fines imposed in the event that a company is prosecuted. However Directors and Officers policies that we arrange for our clients will provide cover for legal defence fees, which could be substantial.
